This is my attempt at hand crafting a Fibula Pin. The beads are dichroic glass and Sterling Silver rounds. The wire is 20 Gauge 1/2 Hard Sterling Silver. I think the wire should perhaps be stiffer, giving the pin more stability. Any suggestions? I will try something new tomorrow. Stay tuned...

Could you gently tap on the wire with a plastic mallet, being really careful not to hit the glass, to work harden it?
I'd try an 18ga half-hard wire, and work-harden it as I go along, with a hammer or mallet. I've never made these pins before, but I sure like what you've done. This is gorgeous!
